Scoop Troop Rebrands to Swoop Scoop®

Scoop Troop Rebrands to Swoop Scoop®

After years of trademark filings and months of planning, Scoop Troop will now be known as Swoop Scoop®. We will be phasing out the use of Scoop Troop over the next few months and officially start refering to the company as Swoop Scoop beginning in September of 2023.

While it was a tough decision to change names from Scoop Troop to Swoop Scoop® our leadership team believes it was the right choice to continue the growth trajectory of the company.

Having federal trademark protections does not come easy, but is a critical part of our expansion plan. Now that we have an official trademark it opens the possibility of franchising which will allow us to open more locations even faster.

As of now most of our trucks have had the logo replaced and the website will soon be converted from Scooptroop.com to SwoopScoop.com over the next few days.

While it is a bummer to see the name Scoop Troop go, we are excited to be able to bring our five-star quality pet waste removal service to other regions across the United States. Currently, we operate our HQ in Spokane, while operating other locations in Seattle, North Idaho, and recently Salem Oregon.

Our plans for the next two years include launching locations in Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver, Eugene, and Portland and then potentially begin franchising to other regions in the country.

We look forward to continuing to service our existing customers with the same quality and responsiveness anyone who works with Scoop Troop or Swoop Scoop can expect.

FAQ

Does Swoop Scoop® Clean the Entire Yard?

Swoop Scoop® will clean any areas of your property that have dog waste issues, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, etc.

Do you provide dog waste removal services all year round?

Yes! Swoop Scoop® provides dog waste removal services year-round at all of our locations. Even in the winter, we will still show up to provide services. In locations with snow, most of the waste that accumulates is still scoopable.

How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?

The safety of our clients and their dogs is a top priority at Swoop Scoop®. To ensure all dogs are safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning so you know your pets won’t get out of the yard, and we ensure all our employees are background checked.

How much does it cost to hire a professional pooper scooper?

Swoop Scoop® has pooper scooper service plans starting as low as $60 per month. However, pricing is based on the size of the yard, service frequency, and number of dogs. Most of our clients end up paying between $95 and $135 per month.

Do I have to sign a contract for pooper scooper services?

No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by updating your customer portal or calling our office.

How do you dispose of the pet waste after each cleanup?

Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous material. Each location is slightly different. In Spokane and North Idaho, we will take the waste off your property and properly dispose of it with Waste Management. In Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma, we will double bag the waste and place it in each customer’s trash can or neatly on the side of their house.

Can you clean with my dog in the yard?

Yes, we love cleaning with dogs! We simply ask that if your dog has shown signs of aggression, you leave them inside during your cleaning. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority. If your dog is aggressive towards our team, you will be asked to put them inside or be completely removed from our route.

Can I request a specific cleanup day?

Yes, you can request a specific cleanup day. Not every cleanup day will be available in your area, but because of our size, we can generally offer 2-3 options to best fit your schedule.

Do you provide arrival windows for services?

No, we don’t provide arrival times for our pooper scooper services. While we will do our best to accommodate your schedule, we optimize our routes for drive time at midnight the day before services are completed to help keep costs low.
